This quote is ascribed to Dieter Rams the famous designer considered to be the father of modern design principles and credited with creating fantastic products for the German corporate giant Braun. Design Thinking and usability are now part of day-to-day activities.

A generation of people who have grown up in the age of the Internet and mobile phones. Now we have mobile apps for every conceivable task. Be it ordering food, booking a cab, getting flight tickets, watching movies, or transferring money: mobile apps have completely changed the way we interact with others and carry out basic tasks. Hence in essence, everyone who uses a smartphone and associated apps have a viewpoint on design and usability.

At Origin, we have been helping organizations with innovative digital learning solutions since 2009. Our learning content includes – 3D/AR/VR and gamified courseware for customers. We felt that the focus on the act of learning seemed to be lost with attention being given to a delegation of learning and learning administration tasks. Existing LMS and LCMS were outdated and seemed irrelevant to the evolving technology landscape. In 2017, we took the plunge and decided to build our own proprietary learning delivery platform – Fractal.
